1. About Nestalma

Nestalma is a city intelligence platform that provides information and resources for women digital nomads. References to "Nestalma", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to the operator of this platform.

By accessing or using Nestalma you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

Most of Nestalma is free to use. Some content, such as our city guides, is sold separately (see section 12). To access full city profiles and detailed destination data you must register a free account using a valid email address. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accuracy of Information

Nestalma aggregates data from third-party sources including Numbeo, Open-Meteo, Frankfurter.dev, and official government portals. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that any information on the platform is complete, current, or error-free.

The information provided is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, immigration, or travel advice. You should independently verify any information before making decisions about relocation, travel, or expenditure.

Cost of living figures, safety scores, and visa requirements can change rapidly. Nestalma accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on data provided through the platform.

4. User-Submitted Content

Users may submit stories, guides, and other content to Nestalma for publication. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, display, and distribute that content on the platform and in related promotional materials.

You warrant that any content you submit:

• Is your own original work or you have the right to share it.
• Does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Is not defamatory, offensive, misleading, or otherwise unlawful.
• Does not contain personal data about third parties without their consent.

We reserve the right to edit, decline, or remove any user-submitted content at our discretion without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on Nestalma that is not user-submitted — including text, data compilations, graphics, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to Nestalma and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or reference external services. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Data sourced from third parties (Numbeo, Open-Meteo, government immigration portals, etc.) is subject to those providers' own terms and policies. Nestalma is not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nestalma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or travel or relocation decisions made in reliance on platform content.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

8. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent or abusive activity, or if we discontinue the platform. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice where possible.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us via the Contact page. Upon closure we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify registered users by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

12. Buying a City Guide

City guides are sold as a one-time purchase. The price is shown in US dollars before you pay, and payment is processed by our payment provider. You get access to the guide in your account immediately after payment, for as long as Nestalma offers it. Guides are for your personal use only and may not be shared, copied or resold. If you're not happy with a guide, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase through our Contact page. Your access to the guide ends once the refund is processed. This doesn't affect your legal rights if a guide is faulty or not as described.
